How do I get a storage quote?

How do I know how much space I need for my storage unit?

 

We’ve created a helpful list of contents with a corresponding storage unit size that you would most likely need. You can view the full checklist here. If you’re still unsure about how much space you need for your storage unit, you can contact one of our friendly team members who will be more than happy to help.

 

Can you transport my items to and from the storage unit?

 

Yes! We have access to a fleet of specialist vehicles which can transport your belongings from your home or business to your storage unit. We can also help unload with our porter service.

 

Do you provide packing materials?

 

Yes – we can provide a range of packing materials to ensure all your belongings can be stored securely and efficiently.

 

Do I need insurance?

 

If your items are particularly valuable or attached to your business, we strongly recommend that you get insurance to protect the value of your contents. We do not automatically offer insurance, but we can offer standard liability if specified. View our insurance policy.

 

Is there anything I can’t store?

 

There are a number of items that you are not permitted to store, including:

 

  • Food or perishable goods unless securely packed so that they are protected and do not attract vermin
  • Animals or any other living creatures
  • Combustible or flammable items, such as gas, paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents or compressed gases
  • Explosives, weapons or ammunition
  • Chemicals, radioactive materials, or biological agents
  • Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a potentially harmful nature
  • Any item with a strong, unpleasant odour
  • Any illegal substances or items, or goods that have been illegally obtained

 

When are you open?

 

Our outside container storage units are accessible 24 hours a day. All our indoor storage units are only accessible during opening hours.

 

Our opening times are as follows:
Mon – Fri: 8am – 6pm
Saturday: 8am – 4pm
Sunday: Closed

 

Is there always someone on site to help?

 

Our reception desk is only manned during our opening hours, however we have 24/7 security should you need emergency assistance out of hours.

What happens if I lose my lock keys?

 

If you lose your lock keys you should report to a member of staff on reception as soon as you can so we can organise a replacement key. You should bring some proof of ID with you and there may be a charge for the replacement.

 

What is your document archive service?

 

Our document archive service enables you to store your commercial and personal paperwork safely and securely. We can even store confidential and high importance documents. Whether you require short or long term document storage, we can help.

 

What do I do if I want to end my storage?

 

We’ll be sad to see you go, but with our fully flexible storage options you can choose to end your storage at any time. Simply give us a call or notify a member of our team on reception and we will help organise everything.
