Where It All Started

A family-run and independent business, 1st Access began life in 1990 as the project of husband and wife duo, Paul and Susanne Fletcher. In its infancy, the business went under a different name, AAA – chosen so that it would be the first listing in the Yellow Pages directory!

Skip to 1993, and the business moved to Fengate and officially became 1st Access. Over the years, we’ve grown from a team of two to 14, and now offer a comprehensive storage solution for both personal and commercial customers. With our document archiving, self-storage units and containers, whatever you need to store, we can store it.

Based in Peterborough, we know the area like the back of our hand. With our wealth of experience moving and storing items in Peterborough, we understand people’s needs and expectations, and aim to exceed them. In fact, we’re proud to have maintained loyal relationships with our customers, with some trusting us to store their belongings for over 20 years.

To make your storage needs even easier to navigate, we’ve partnered with Reads Removals, a local removal team with almost 100 years in the business of safely moving personal items from A to B.

Located in Fengate, we are just a short drive from Parnwell, Stanground and Eastgate. If you’re travelling from outside Peterborough, we are easily accessible from the A1.
