• Give high-value, fragile furniture extra care and attention. By letting our team know of any valuable, fragile furniture ahead of time, we can provide the right resources to keep your items protected and secure. Wrap anything made with glass, such as a glass table top or mirror, with paper and bubble wrap – if you can, place it into a cardboard box of a similar size.
• Use protective coverings. Covering your furniture with dust sheets or plastic wrapping will give it that little extra protection and prevent a build-up of dust while in storage.
• Give everything a quick clean. This will ensure your furniture is in optimum condition when you come to collect it.
• Raise furniture off the floor. If your storage isn’t climate controlled and you’re storing during winter, it’s important not to let your furniture get too cold.
• Get insurance. We have liability insurance, but it’s also highly recommended that you have your own cover in place.
