- Declutter first: There’s no point storing stuff you’re not going to want to use again. Make sure you work out what you want to keep and what can go before you store it.
- Organise carefully: Group your items into categories and place similar items together. With everything neatly organised, it’ll be that much easier to find what you’re looking for next time you visit your unit.
- Choose the right boxes: Depending on the items you’re storing, certain types of boxes will be a better fit. We usually recommend damp-proof plastic boxes, but can offer specific advice if you’re looking to store fragile items.
