Standard access provides entry to your storage unit during our regular opening hours. This option works best if you only need occasional access or typically visit during daytime business hours and don’t require early-morning, late-evening or weekend access.

Extended access

Our Extended access solution offers greater flexibility, allowing you to visit your unit from early morning to late evening, including weekends. This option benefits you if you need more access but don’t require round-the-clock availability.

24/7 access

Flexibility is a priority for us, so we also offer the 24/7 option. For complete freedom, 24/7 access enables you to reach your storage unit anytime, any day of the year. This level is beneficial for businesses, frequent users, or anyone who values unrestricted access and convenience.

How can I access my storage unit after hours?

Your access will depend on the cover you choose. Our reception desk is staffed during opening hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.

If you choose Extended or 24/7 access, you will receive gate codes and a personal access key fob to access our security doors whenever you need access.

If you lose your key, our team will help you regain access to your unit. Our dedicated staff can provide a replacement key if one has been securely stored at our reception.

Who else can access my storage?

No one else has access to your storage at our secure storage units in Peterborough. We recommend purchasing a padlock to secure your unit’s contents, or we can provide one if needed. Once your padlock is installed, your unit will be accessible only by you (or anyone else you give the key to).

Can you have packages delivered to a storage unit?

Should you need deliveries or collections from your storage facility, we will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee this service.

We may be able to assist with one-off deliveries, although we suggest you speak to our 1^st Access staff in the first instance. Accepting deliveries for customers is not part of the monthly chargeable services we offer you, so we can discuss whether this will be a chargeable extra, depending on the volume, time of day and complexity of handling. We also ask that collections be discussed with us first, as we cannot take responsibility for items left outside for pickup.

For safety and security, we cannot allow delivery companies or drivers access to a customer’s unit, so all furniture deliveries must be organised through our team and may incur a cost.

If you already have furniture or larger items at the storage location, or will be delivering them yourself, we also offer paid services to help you move them. This includes pallet unloading with a forklift and moving your items directly into units.
